When I was starting out, I would inhale any information I could find from published writers about their writing process, their tips, how they got published and their experience in general. Thus I thought I would have a page here where I give you a little insight into my writing life and the sort of information I would have found useful or interesting.
I plan to update this page regularly as there are so many things I want to cover and so many extra things I am learning as I go.
Route to Publication
I'm am often asked about my route to publication, it is a long and arduous journey for most writers and the claims of a debut who is a sudden 'overnight success' are usually a little disingenuous. All the published writers I know have had to put years and years of hard work in to hone their writing, learn about the industry and build a network of contacts within publishing.

Writing Tips
I’m often asked for my top writing tips so I thought I would take this opportunity to share some with you. Remember though, I am only sharing what I have learnt along the way, and what works for me may not work for you. A lot of these tips overlap and inform each other, but that's a good thing. It makes a long list far more achievable.
